How do you protect individual cells?

By default, all cells are locked, and thus protected when you
protect the worksheet. To protect only specific cells, first
select all cells, go to the Format menu, choose Cells, then the
Protection tab, and clear the Locked check box. Then, select the
cells you want to protect, go back to the Protection tab and
check the Locked check box. Finally, protect the worksheet.
