How do you put your vidoe onto a powerpoint?

I am doing a pwerpoint project for my science class. I need to put a vidoe on
it tha I made. I go to insert movie from file, but the video never comes up.
You can only hear it.

Try putting both the presentation AND the video in the same folder with a
short path length and THEN insert > movies
