How do you turn on the autocompletion cache??

Seems simple enough, but this one has eluded me for some
time- and I don't have time to dig... The option must be
buried in Outlook somewhere- or do you HAVE to have
Exchange in the mix?

Thanks!

You need to have Outlook 2002 or above for namecaching. If it's not working
create a new profile.

Hope this helps!

Tools / Options / Preferences Tab / Email Options /
Advanced Email Options / "Suggest names while completing
To, CC, and Bcc fields"

Is this what you were looking for?
