how do you work sales totals seperately per year

I have an assignment that requires me to work out the number of products sold
per year per company. but when i attempt to do so i get the same total for
each company for the entire year.
Please advise

Create a query that includes SaleYear, Company and Product in that order.
Click on the Sigma (looks like E) button on the toolbar at the top of the
screen. Under Product, change Group By to Count. When you run the query you
will get the total unit sales of each product by Company by Year.
