how does one ceate the sign for square foot?

Can this be done with a combinatin of key strokes like hold down alt, and
press 0,1,7,4 to create ®

I am not sure what the symbol for a square foot is (about time you converted
to metric anyway)?, but maybe type 25A1 and then hold down the Alt key and
press x.
