How find size of e mails?

How do you find the size of:

1)individual e mails
2) folder of e mails

I been trying, I can't find a way to do it.
This subject has come up because as we all get more junk mail, I now have to
think about what the maximum amount of space I'm allowed to receive in e
mails if, for example, if I go on a two week vacation.

I don't want to come back from vacation to find out I missed list of
important e mails, because my isp's was filled up in the first week with
tons of junk.

My isp says I have a 25 mb limit. More than that you need a business
account.
Is this enough space in today's world, to take a two week trip and be ok?
I don't like checking e mails from vacation (ie, and clearing them out) It
defeats purpose of going away!

Any ideas appreciated. Thanks!
