How I can use fill effect on custom shape

Would you please help me to be able using fill effect on custom shape?

Hello-

You should not need to anything more than create the shape, select it and
choose your fill effect from the Fill Color button's menu. If that isn't
working, post back with which version of Word and more description of what
you are doing and what _is_ happening when you try.
