How is Outlook 2007 BCM?

Dave

My company is looking at switching from Goldmine version 4.0 to Outlook 2007
with BCM. We have Small Business Server 2003. We want to share business
contacts with other users. We have 6 employees, 3 in sales and 3 in back
office support. The 3 salespeople would use it extensively, while the 3 in
back office support maybe a few times a day.

In your experience with BCM 2007, do you think this product would be ideal
for this situation? What are some of its strengths? Its weaknesses?

Thanks for your help!

If you want to move your data from Goldmine you should consider
specialized help to migrate the data.

The performance of BCM may be the biggest blocker and will depend on
your hardware and your data.

I would recommend a trying BCM out and making sure the performance is
acceptable before commiting to the change. You should also identify
which Goldmine features that are essential for running your business,
and whether you can do the same with BCM.
