How many characters are we limited to for an autocorrect entry in Word 2003?

I'm sure there's no such limit to the entry itself. It could very well be
that the name of the entry can't exceed 32 characters (as is the case with
AutoText).

I assumed the question was referring to the name: you are correct though
that there should be no limit to the AutoCorrect result.
