How many days the progress behind the plan?

Hi,

A project have so many tasks, each of them get different values in
%complete. But for the overall project, I want to know how many days
we are behind the plan comparing to today. Yes, I don't want the
overall %complete, what I wanted is days behind.

I remembered that there is a kind of bar that can be visually shown on
project summary bar or the top level summary task bar. But I don't
remeber how to call it out.

Please help me. Thanks.

Thanks for the information and I will head to the forum. But I still
interest in what you mean 'Microsoft has closed all their Project
newsgroups". Does it also apply on other groups under
microsoft.public.* ?

Yes it does, though the complete closure is by October. All the
public.project newsgroups have gone, much to the disgust of most of
us
