How many discs in xp pro?

I just received a full version of Office XP Pro 2002 that I purchased on eBay
and am having trouble installing it. I think the crucial disc was left out.
What I got is one disc labeled "Media Content" and one labeled "Step by Step
Interactive Tutorial". What is the label on the disc that actually installs
the Office Suite?

On mine it just says "Version 2002" on the right-hand side of the face of
the disk. The disk's label is "office10".

At the same place on the media content disk is:

<quote>
Version 2002
Media Content
</quote>

The disk's label is "cntcd1_2002".

(My set didn't come with the tutorial.)

It sounds like you don't have the disk with the program data on it. For your
sake I hope you bought from a reputable seller.

You should have received two disks and in addition you must download an SP1
from Microsoft Office Updates.
However if you purchased an Upgrade version then there is only one disk.

Neither of those disks contain the program. "Media Content" contains
extras like clip art. "Step-by-Step" is training material. I don't
think that they sent you everything. I'd contact the seller.

Thank you for your clear reply. The dealer has already offered to replace the
faulty product.
