how many email addresses can fit in a distribution list?

i have approximately 1000 email addresses that i would like to include in a
distribution list. can they all fit, or will i have to make the list smaller?

The number of names in a Distribution list is not the real deciding factor,
it is how many emails your ISP or organization will allow to be sent at one
time. 1000 is a very low number.

account will be deleted without reading.
