I setup rules to handle emails, such as moving all incoming mail from xxxx to
specific folder if.....
The rules were tested all worked fine. But I wonder why they aren't run
'instantly'. Often I see a lot of emails sitting in my personal folder (not
the mail box) for quite some time. I am receving many emails and sometimes I
just can't wait and have to use the "run now" function to clear up (or
organize) quickly. don't know if I am too impatient but where to tell Outlook
how often the rules are to run.
Remarks on setup: I retreive emails onto my local disk (as pst file) from an
Exchange server. I apply the rules to run on my (client) machine.
