how project server will integrate with moss ?

i have farm that have one sql server and one moss server and new server will
host project and portfolio servers
i need project server to integrate with moss to use its future to do that i
know i have to install project server binery files to moss server
the question here when install project server to the new server do i have to
install moss on it or it will connect the shraepoint farm and work fine with
wss
please advise me i need moss in new server or wss will work and integrate
with sharepoint farm

Project Server requires WSS, not MOSS.

It sounds like you are contemplating adding a server to an existing MOSS
farm. If this is the case, then yes, you must install MOSS to the new Server
and then Project Server, as well as installing the Project Server binaries
to the current MOSS server. All servers in an SharePoint farm must be
running the same software.
