How run macro to turn specific sheets black when file reaches a given age

I'm trying to tame/train the sales folks to use the latest version of
file so if they're using a version that's too old, they won't be abl
to see some of the data

Hi
not really possible with Excel. It would require macros and if they
disable macros they still can use the old version
