Hello,

i just set up a groove workspace on my man computer and use it with my
notebook. everything is fine so far. i decided to use groove for
documentation issues.

How secure is groove? Is it possible to get "easy" access to a workspace if
someone is not invited. Is on a local installation the data file one each
computer; or is it stored somewhere on ms servers? If the datafile is
stolen, can it easily be opend on a different pc without knowing the login
parameters?

Groove is incredibly secure and that is one of its primary strengths.
It is certified by Government agencies -

To answer your other questions -
There is no "easy" access to a workspace for non-invited members. Data
resides on each client's machine in an encrypted form that is not easily
decipherable (except through the workspace itself or an authorized GWS
application). Space data cannot be retrieved on a stolen machine if the
userid/password to the Groove client is not known (presuming you have the
uid/pwd parameters required for each Groove client login).
