CQ --
You will first need to open the Enterprise Global and populate the RBS field
with an outline code structure that mimics the "org chart" for your company.
Once you have saved and closed the Enterprise Global, log out of Microsoft
Project entirely, then log back in again to get the latest changes to that
field. Now open the Enterprise Resource Pool, insert the RBS field
temporarily in the Resource Sheet view, then set an RBS value for each
resource that will indicate their relative position in your company's "org
chart". This will show Project Server "who works for whom" in your company,
and will tie resources to one or more managers.
In addition, in Project Web Access you'll also need to set your Categories
to observe the relationships you have set up in the RBS field. These
relationships are activated by setting options in the Projects and Resources
section of each Category. Hope this helps.
