How to access NewsGroups?

I have a friend who has AOL. Is there any way she can access these
NewsGroups?

NewsGroups?

She can use Outlook Express to directly access the Microsoft server at
msnews.microsoft.com. Here is a list of Microsoft Public Newsgroups:
http://aumha.org/nntp.php

Have her go to the above site, read the directions and when she selects a
newsgroup she wants, her Outlook Express will be configured. Caution her to
go into the account information for News and enter a fake email address to
avoid Spam.

When she uses Outlook Express to access the newsgroups, she will need to be
connected to AOL for internet access. When she is connected to the Microsoft
server, a icon in the toolbar {Newsgroups} will also list the available
groups.
