How to activate product replacing trial version?

Bought the real thing, installed it from disks, still says "trial version" on
each progam. What's the deal? Why is this so hard?

Uninstall both versions and then install the purchased version.

Actually, all it took was uninstalling the trial version. I never saw that
instruction anywhere. Thanks! Tom
