how to activate the professional office 2003?

I just bought a dell laptop from Dell, and I also bought a professional
office 2003. When I turn on the computer, and I found the office 2003 is
already there. And there is a small window asks me to activate the office
2003. After I clicked the Activate the office 2003, there is only a word
document coming up. I don't need to enter any product key. I don't believe I
have activated and registered the office 2003 online, because there is no any
steps I have processed as the direction said. I don't know why. And I call
Dell company for help, and they will charge me for $99 for help. I cannot
afford that. Who would like to do me a favor to tell me how can handle this
problem? I am waiting for the answer and really appreciated with your
kindness.

If you bought a separate Office program, then you need to uninstall the
trial version that came with the computer and install your purchased version
using the key sent with the installation package.
