How to add a button in Visio canvas?

I saw some great articles in which there is a button, and by clicking the
button brings up an event. Such as the one in:

Can someone tell me how to add a button into Visio?

menu Insert -> Control
and scroll down to the Microsoft Forms x.x

Thanks! But how can I add events? I tried right-click => CommandButtonObject
=> View Code, and changed the code. But that didn't change the behavior.
