How to add "From" options for my addresses in Outlook

C

carsgofast!

I want to add a "From" option on my Outlook send page. One automaticly shows
up on my husband's page. He uses Outlook Express. I can not find how to show
a similar option on my regular Outlook page. I have three internet addresses;
two personal and one for business. I need to be able to choose between them
when I send mail. My personal addresses are silly and I can't use them for
serious stuff.

I know this is simple stuff for practiced users, but I am not a main line
techie and I could sure use help.

Thanks to anyone who takes the time to respond :)

What version of Outlook are you using?

Hi, Cars. You're in luck! This is simple. After you write your message, hit
the tiny black arrow to the right of the Accounts button (Outlook 2003) or
(if I recall correctly) the tiny black arrow to the right of the Send button
(Outlook 2000/2002?). I am not positive which one it is, and you didn't
provide the version, so I can't be sure. But this will NOT send the email
yet, it will only allow you to choose from which account you want to send
it.

Hope it helps!

That depends on the version of Outlook, which the OP has not told us.

Thanks for answering my question! A lady named Anne figured out (as you did), that I hadn't indicated the version of Outlook. She gave me directions for each version so I could figure out what to do. Gets you off the hook for another go round with me. I appreciate your response, though, and thanks again.
