How to add multiple identical records, a product range, in access

I am realatively new to Access, using 2003, and am establishing an inventry
system where items of the same description need to be input into the
database. I would like to add a field on the input form where the user can
input the number of items and the system generates that amount of identical
records, other than an auto-generated key, for that table creating that
number of records.
