Not really an Office question but scan a picture, save the file in a
..jpg format and then send that file by email or whatever.

I've searched and searched and can't seem to find this option. It has added
much more time to my daily work by forcing me to scan + add to document +
then delete the unwated file from the hard drive. Microsoft, please help.

Have you read the manual for your scanner? Basically, you scan your
document, save to a folder as a jpg or tiff or whatever, then work with it
from there..pretty easy.

What option are you searching for, and in which program?

Microsoft employees don't usually read these posts. You're stuck with
volunteers.
