How to add templates to categories

I would like to add custom templates to the list that displays when you click
on file, new. There are many standard templates listed that comes with Visio
but I want to have a folder or category for my company and have our templates
in the drop down.
How do I do that?

You need to add the path to the templates into the templates File
Paths
How you get there depends upon which version of Visio.
try
Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> File Paths

Each file path should be seperated by a semicolon.
e.g. c:\myVisio;c:\Program Files\moreVisio;d:\myTemplates
