How to anchor a graphic on the top of a page so it doesn't scroll

I'm putting a graphic on the top of each page. Its a similar but different
graphic every two pages.
I'd like to be able to make a template, paste my graphics in, then be able
to add text under it, but since I can't anchor it to that location - when I
get to the secon page, the graphic starts to move wiht the text.

How do I stop this?

Thanks
Yvonne

Hi Yvonne,

After you insert the graphic:
.. select it
.. choose Format|Picture/Object|Layout
.. check 'Square'
.. click 'Advanced'
.. on the 'Picture Position' tab, uncheck 'move object with text'

You can then specify the exact positioning you want or, after clicking
'OK|OK' you can drag the object around to where you want it.

Cheers
