How to apply all these hotfixes for MSP 2007 and MSPSVR 2007 ?

OK, we've got a handful of hotfixes out there:

MSP2007 Client: KB935557, KB936517, KB937907,.....

MSP Server 2007: KB936134, KB936876, KB937476,.....

How should one go about applying these things? Lowest # to highest?,
back to back? Server-then-client? Client-then-Server?

I understand the caution only to apply those that directly impact you
prior to SP1 release. I guess I'm looking at being proactive here
and trying to fix some things so that we dont have to deal with them
later.

Please advise.

Andy:

You don't have enough trouble so now you want to borrow some?<g> Microsoft
threw us a curve ball with these as there are a couple of hotfixes that are
not cumulative. Typically, the latest hotfix contains all of the fixes in
the previously released hotfixes, but there are a couple of exceptions.
Because you have premiere support, you should be able to vet these with a
Microsoft support person. Choose wisely.

Well, I downloaded the ones I could and looked at the KB - all of
them indicated:

There are no prerequisites for installing this hotfix.
You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this hotfix.
This hotfix is not replaced by any later hotfix.
To use one of the hotfixes in this package, you do not have to make
any changes to the registry.

I only was able to download 5 for the client and 4 for the server from
Premier Support and just slammed em in back to back. Everything went
fine, even running the SharePoint Products and Technologies Config
Wizard afterward.

************Hey, there were several I downloaded for unique KBs that
ended up being the IDENTICAL zip and exes for KBs downloaded
previously which made absolutely no sense to me. Is this an obvious
mistake on Microsoft's part (duplicates)????

Thanks,
Andy Novak
