How to apply rules to timesheets

according to certain rules will accepted automatically.

There is no way to apply Rules to Timesheet updates by timesheet approvers.
Only project managers can apply Rules for task updates. Hope this helps.

Sam,
in addition to Dales post, the only "rule" in timesheets is that if you are
your own timesheet approver the timesheet will automatically be approved.
In addition to this you are able to develop rules into the timesheet, but
this is custom development.
