how to archive sent items

I want to archive some emails from my outbox (outlook
2000).
a file.pst is created but it is empty and outlouk can't
open this file .
do you know how to proceede ?
no problems to archive emails in my in box

Create a new PST file called, say, Outbox Archive, and simply move your
Outbox mesages to it.
