How to auto insert date on office word 2007 saved doc.

How can I automatically insert today's date on a word doc at the bottom and
end of the previeously saved text everytime I open it?

It appears you're using PC Word but you've posted to the group for Word on
the Mac. You'll get more specific info if you post to one of the Word for
Windows groups via the following link -- but when you do, try to be more
explicit about what you want to do. I'm afraid it isn't very clear:
