how to autoinvoke a database retrieval when drag & drop a master shape to a worksheet

Hi,

have to migrate some vss file master shapes from V5 to 2002 and had removed
all the fixed / hard coded data field properties. Moved to write some vba
code; but how can I invoke the call to the database engine (Oracle instead
of Access now) and post a combobox with values while doing drag & drop to
the worksheet?

Any help highly appreciated
