How to block outlook elements

Hello everyone.

Can anybody tell me how can I do to avoid some users send Outlook elements
(such as messages or contacts) attached to an e-mail generated from Outlook?

Can I do this in any special configuration in Outlook?

If I had a third-party product, which is capable of blocking files attached
to a SMTP messages according to its file type (.exe, .dat, .msg), how could I
recognize these Outlook elements?

Thanks for your help

First, those aren't "Outlook elements", with the possible exception of .msg.
Second, if you have a third party tool, then the instructions that come with
that tool will explain how to use it.

In fact we use Outlook 97, 2000 or XP.

I know what our third-party software does and its capabilities, which is why
I asked how could I determine when an e-mail has another e-mail attached
since it can block a file according to its extension.

However, I can attach any file I want with any file type I want. I can give
a message the file type ".pdq", for example, and forward it. The recipient
can cave it, name it back to ".msg" and read it. How would your tool detect
that?
