how to cancel printing half way through

B

beril

I have started to print my document. Then half way through I had a paper jam.
I pushed the reset button on the printer. And now don't know how to continue
or even cancel (because it doesn't cancel) the document. Thank you

Not an Office problem - post to a hardware group for your version of the

I have found that typical with my Brother and HP Photosmart Printer. I
finally found, in the manual for each printer, that unplugging the power
and holding the reset or cancel button (it differs on each printer) while
restoring the power will clear the print job from the printer. I suggest
you look at your printer manual to see what button you need to hold down
while turning the printer back on.

Its worth a try anyway.

Good luck.

The easiest way is to switch off the printer so that its memory can be cleared
off!! You do need to clear the paper jam first otherwise you won't be able to
print anything!
