How to categorize some mails as do not archive ?

I want to mark some mails as do not archive, so that , when I archive old
mails, I still have those mails in my inbox despite of archiving all mails
based on date.

Open an item you wish not archived, click File and choose Properties. Check
the box labeled "Do not Autoarchive this item". Click OK. Close the item and
click Yes when asked if you want to save the changes.
