how to change a word document from the 07 version to the 2000 vers

i am using the 07 office version at home and saved a document to a flashdrive
to take to school but when i got to school the document would only come up in
shapes and numbers not real words they have a 2000 version at school is there
any way to get it so it stays as words

It sounds as though you're talking about using Word, not Access, so your
question would best be addressed in a newsgroup related to Word.

That being said, ensure that you're saving your document as a .DOC, not as a
..DOCX

Wrong forum for Word documents. This forum is for questions about the
database product Access.

However, on your home system trying doing a SAVE AS and selecting the older
version format.

In the future look for a word forum.
