How to change Avery label number in already-existing macro-enabled

Maggie

Hello,

A few months ago I created a macro-enabled document to use with an Excel
data source for the purpose of mailing labels. I went through much trial and
error to arrive at a solution. Now I've discovered that the Avery label
number I chose when creating the document is different than what I need now;
is there any way to change just the label number used in my existing
document, or do I need to create the whole thing all over again?

If you open the macro-enable document and you create a new document that is
based on the desired label type (which I would save as a macro enabled
template rather than a macro enabled document), then using the Visual Basic
Editor (Alt+F11), you can copy the macro code from your existing document
into the new document/template. Alternatively, assuming that the macro is
in a module in the existing document, in the Visual Basic Editor, you can
select that module and then from the File menu, select Export and you can
then save the module into a folder, then when you select the new
document/template, use Import on the VBE File menu, to import the module
into that document/template.
