how to change cell 'padding' in Word 2010

They use to have an option in Word under the cell properties in a
table called padding. My text in some cells is flush with the borders
and I want to be able to allow some margin space between border and
text but haven't figured out how to do that. There is no longer an
option for border padding.

In the Table Options dialog box you can set the default cell margins and spacing. (For more on the spacing setting, see the article at http://word.mvps.org/faqs/tblsfldsfms/TableBasics.htm). Right-click a table, and choose Table Properties from the context menu. On the Table tab, click Options.

Note that you can set the corresponding options for a selected cell if you click the Options button on the Cell tab of the dialog box.
