How to Change Default Files Location in FrontPage XP

A

Andrew Peskin

I tried to change the default files location (For opening and saving) in
FrontPage XP with NO success. I tried by Changing the Registry.

In the Registry Key
HEKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\FrontPage

I changed the following 2 keys to my desired default directory

DefaultSave
Explorer\FrontPageExplorer\Settings:Default\WebName

From what I have read, this should have worked, but it did not.
FrontPage still defaults to its documents/settings directory.

If anyone can tell me how to change the default open/save directory, I
would greatly appreciate it.

Many thanks in advance.

You need to always open a web first (File Menu | Open Web) then when you work in your web, all
content will be saved in the current open web.
