how to change office temporary foldfer location?

When MS Office opens a file, creates a temp file on the same folder
How can i directo to create the temp file on another folder?
(Local or network)

The problem: My Audit records a deletion of file every time Office closes a
file

You could try (in Word 2003) Tools, Options, Save, "Make local copy of
files.........." option to see is that does what you need.
