Some Facts . . .
1. I Bought Office 97 in, erm !! 1997
2. I Bought a new PC in 2004 and it came with Windows XP
3. I installed Office 97 on the new PC
4. I legally changed my name at the start of 2005.
5. I had to wipe and re-install Office 97 to change the registered owner
details.
ALL OK SO FAR . . .
6. I Bought an HP iPaq which came with Outlook 2002,which I intalled.
7. Now Outlook 2002 has somehow reverted to using my old name.
HOW DO I CHANGE IT ?
Everything is strictly legal, I have taken the advice to which I was
directed from the Microsoft Website and in their 'Contact Us' email, and
changed all Registry References to my new name. All the Office 97
Applications have retained my new name but Outlook 2002 keeps reverting to my
original name. [I have re-installed it several times after making various
alterations but nothing seems to stop the name change.
