Hi,

I am trying to change the language ID in all the text boxes of a presentation. In previous versions, you could do that with a macro. Does anyone know what one can do with PP 2008 ?

Thanks,

If all of your text is contained within placeholders
and not text boxes, you can select all text using
Cmd+A in Outline view, and then change the language
from the Tools menu in one fell swoop.

Also, it appears that you have Leopard - you might
be able to use Automator to create a custom workflow
that selects all of the text on the slide,
changes the language, and then moves on to the
next. That might speed things up.

Thank you for your answer.

Actually, now that I think about it I believe the text must be within placeholders. But selecting all in Outline view and changing the language does not work for some reason.

When I select all the text and go to the language dialogue box, no language is highlighted (which is different from the usual behaviour, right ?)

Going through Automator is a good idea. I must have a try at this tool...
