How to circle items in image

How do I circle an area in an image in word without obscuring the interior?
I've used the print screen feature to copy a page of a program. I've pasted
the image into word. Now I want to circle some of the text in red without
covering the text up. I've seen it done before but am not sure how to
proceed. Thanks in advance.

Specify text wrapping of "Behind text" for your picture to make it easier to
position. Draw your circle (Hold the shift key down to force an exaact
circle) and specify "No Fill". Don't forget you can also set the line
thickness and colour of your circle

If you place an autoshape circle over the image, then Format it so that it has no fill, and a red outline, that should give you the
effect you're after.

How do i insert a piture inside the circle?
And does anyone know how to use fonts that are already in my pc..not the fonts that are supplied by word

If you made your "circle text" using WordArt, you may not be able to put a
picture *in* it, but if the picture is circular, you can put the picture in
front of it. There are various ways to layer graphics and text. You can
insert the picture inline and the "circle text" Behind Text. Or the "circle
text" can be inline with the picture In Front of Text. Or both can be in the
drawing layer, with Send Backward or Bring Forward used to layer them.

Any font that is *installed* on your PC (that is, installed in the Windows
Fonts folder) will be available in all Windows applications. If you are not
seeing them in Word, then they are not properly installed in Windows.
