Hello
I am running FP2002, and on my local intranet I have an
annoying oddity
All files- word, excel, etc that are hyperlinked allow you
to open them - and then hit save and they will replace the
original... fine
However, all powerpoint files that are hyperlinked give
the message upon saving that it is read only and do you
want to use "Save as" and save as a different file.
If you open the file conventionally you are allowed to
save it just fine.
I would appreciate it if somebody knows how to turn off
globally or otherwise this deviant behavior.
I am not concerned that anybody could save and overwrite
the file, this is a workgroup intranet
Thanks
Dale
