I am trying to convert a file that has been created in Photoshop into a
powerpoint drawing object.
I want to do this so that the colours of the object can be changed by use of
Powerpoint.

You will need to create an EMF or WMF file of your image.

To do this you will need to use a Vector Graphics program (Illustrator or
Corel; try using live trace).

To change the colour of this file format in PPT, simply format image and
choice "recolour" .
