How to convert and email spreadsheet

Hello:

I need to save an Excel (2003) spreadsheet in HTML format and then email it.
Is there a way to do it programmatically? I know how to save it in HTML
format and how to email the workbook, but it's always an .xls file. I
cannot figure out how to email the newly created HTML file.

I would appreciate your advice.

I was looking for something simple - I don't need to select the range or
something, but this might work for me.
