how to convert mpp file into gif file format?

Hi Geeta,

You cannot convert an entire MS Project file (*.mpp) to a gif file. You
can use the copy picture button on the Standard toolbar to take a
picture of the current view, but it will only capture the view, not
convert.

You may also save a project file as a webpage as detailed in the FAQ.
[Note: in Project 2003 the menu command is File > Save as webpage].
