I posted the question below to the
microsoft.public.outlook.calendaring newsgroup, but did not received
an answer that solved the problem. So, I decided to post the question
here as well. Thanks for any helpful insights.

------------------------------------------------------------
I have a bit of a problem with Outlook 2010 (running on Win7 64bit).

Sometimes I need to copy a calendar item from a current date to a
future date, but retain the current item date. How do I do that -
I've tried all kinds of things, but have not determine how to do it.

Also, the copy to date might be a few months in the future.

Can anyone advise? Appreciate any tips!

I did that a few days ago:

1) highlight the item of interest;
2) use Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V to create a duplicate item for the same date;
3) edit the duplicate and use the desired date;
4) save.
