How to copy my Word 2003 dictionary from F to C drive?

Using Win-XP Home, SP2 (on the old and new machine)

Hi, folks.

I recently replaced my computer and installed Word 2003 on the
new system; it is exactly the same program as Word 2003 on my old
system. I have the old hard drive installed as a slave (F drive) on
this new machine, so I'd like to do this by drag & drop. Is that
possible?

I would like to find that dictionary and copy it to the new
computer. Does anyone here know the name of the file(s) that I would
need to find and copy? Based on my research, it seems there are
several type of Word dictionaries. The dictionary I am wanting to copy
from F: to C: is the one that resulted from my many spellchecks and
selecting "add word to dictionary." ;)

I do_not_have auto correct turned on, if that makes any
difference.

I'll be back here hoping for a response; thanks, and have a
great weekend.

You should be able to locate the dictionary by clicking Tools ->
Options -> Spelling & Grammar -> Custom Dictionaries. The full path
appears at the bottom of the pop-up. Then use Windows Explorer to
move it wherever you want it. Finally go back and tell Word where it
is now.

Barry,

Excuse my delay in thanking you very much for your assistance.
Your explanation was concise and worked perfectly. You can't imagine
how much easier my Word life will be from now on. ;)

Thanks again,
