How to create a macro using autotext entries

Thank you for your help. I have already set up the autotext which consist of
a selection of various paragraphs one can insert into a document. What I
would like to do is create a macro with a drop down list from which I can
select the paragraphs I would like to insert into my document.

I think I've answered a similar question for you before?

You don't really need a macro, all you need to do is create a new menu
on a toolbar and add the AutoText entries. I've already responded with
most of the instructions you need in another thread. If you need them
again I'd be happy to provide them. Please reply to this thread,
rather than creating a new post, so I know you are seeing the replies.

Here you go: :)

To create your custom menu for AutoText entries:

- Go to Tools/Customize
- Select the Commands tab
- In the Categories section scroll down to the bottom and locate "New
Menu"
- In the Commands section on the right, drag/drop the menu to a
toolbar or the menu bar
- Select the AutoText category
- Drag/Drop the AutoText entries onto the new menu

To change the name of the menu: right-click the menu and type the new
name in the Name text box.
