How to create a SmartArt with automation?

J

Jason S. Han

Which automation object should be used to create a SmartArt object and change
its properties in Office 2007 ?
There might be some SmartArt related constants (msoSmartArt,
wdInlineShapeSmartArt), but I cannot find any object that represent a
SmartArt object. And there might be no methods that can create SmartArt
object.

Any advice would be appriciated, Thanks.

Microsoft hasn't exposed any object model for SmartArt in Office 2007. In order
to create SmartArt you have to manipulate the OpenXML file format. Very
unfortunate.

Probably. But I've never looked at it closely so I can't say for sure.
OpenXMLDEveloper.org is the place to research that.
